This style of fence is a more traditional choice but provides just as much security as any other type of fence. We can construct aluminum panels or a completely custom design to conform to the needs of your projects and or property requirements.
There are several types of metal fences to consider when making your decision and they range from powder-coated, per-galvanized and powder-coated, or plainly primed and painted. Similar to staining a wood fence powder coating a metal fence acts as a layer of protection between the harshness of the environment.
The Good, The Bad
Aluminum is essentially corrosion and weatherproof needing no type of additional SEALS or codes to ensure its longevity. The major drawback with aluminum is its durability, aluminum is a softer metal meaning it is more susceptible to larger impacts, sustained pressure or high usage (gates or entrances). We do not recommend aluminum fencing around a business's storefront or on a commercial property. we highly recommend aluminum for a private pool security fence. There are many standard designs you can choose from when it comes to selecting a metal fence, as we have many templates in our catalogs.
Rusting is an issue with Iron of fences not aluminum (more so the closer you get to saltwater) which is why we highly recommend using a powder-coated finish to alleviate this issue. If you are more budget-conscious going with a primed and painted metal finish would be the best option however it is not as resilient to the sun's ultraviolet rays. All the same being in Central Kentucky the weather is fairly consistent without much excessive Heat or humidity. These types of fences are not something you would want to use if you want a visual black as they are more for creating a physical barrier and marking a boundary. Small animals like cats and raccoons can still get through these fences so think about that it is you are trying to accomplish.
